Ayiti, meaning "Land of the High Mountains", is the name given by the Indigenous people, the Tainos, to the island of Hispaniola. It  is also the creole or kreyol name of the island of Haiti, the 1st Black Republic in world - located in the West Indies in the Caribbean Sea. 

This fashion collection is inspired by Haitian folklore, Haiti's revolutionary history and Haitian culture.  It represents the movement of "going back to our roots" and taking pride in our Haitian heritage.
